Books

I've had a passion for books for as long as I can remember.   Here are some of my recommendations.  Clicking the link will bring you to a sight to purchase the book.

Lord of the Rings

I have read this series every year for as long as I can remember. I've read and read and read it.  It never gets old, it never gets boring.

Devine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood

Fabulous book by Rebecca Wells.  It was recommended highly by a friend who insisted I must go out and buy it.  After reading it I understand her insistence.

  Little Altars Everywhere

Technically the first in the series about the Walker family.  But read it after Ya-Yas.  Trust me.

For a little bit of fun, there's always the Ya-Ya web site

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

Just because you've seen the movie, do not pass up the chance to read this book.  The movie is great, don't get me wrong, but the book is much better.

Anthem

Far superior to 1984.  It's a short and easy read.  One that makes you think without you realizing it.

To Kill a Mockingbird

One of the books on my high school required reading list that I adored.

  The Feminine Mystique

A must read for every woman from the mother of feminism.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

This is the only book that's made me laugh out loud while I read it.  Open your mind and laugh yourself silly.
